The Final Clip of Choice Moments From the Rock Bend Folk Festival

As this is the final clip of Choice Moments From the Rock Bend Folk Festival, I have to say what a pleasure it’s been to share these various moments with you.

These few clips have only been the tip of the iceberg.  So many musicians have performed right here in St. Peter. I wouldn’t begin to count them all or name them all.

The past 22 years have been filled with lovely memories of not only the musicians but the fond memories of friends, family and community joining in such a good idea, a free music festival.  Kudos to the Rock Bend Folk Festival committee for bringing this event to our little community and creating a togetherness with peace and joy!

If I Were A Dog

The Divers at the Rock Bend Folk Festival from
1999, 2000, 2006 & 2007

This is such a cute song!

A few years later, when I was dog watching a friend's pet, I put together another video using the Diver's same song to this little clip entitled, "Penny the Poodle".

Choice Moments From the Rock Bend Folk Festival

In 2007 I was the first video artist to receive an emerging artist grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council/McKnight Foundation.  The monies were used to help create this music montage.  It was cablecast on the surrounding public access cable stations.

At this time the total running time is too large to upload but in an effort to bring you the entire program I will be showing you "Choice Moments From the Rock Bend Folk Festival" in clips.

This first clip is the introduction of the program.

Stay tuned for more fun videos and remember.....

Have a great day!

Pontoon Fun on Lake Jefferson

Our host for the pontoon ride, Wolfie, on beautiful
Lake Jefferson

Getting together with friends is always great and enjoying the lake culture is a plus.

A beautiful way to spend a summer afternoon.

...relaxing, happy and fun!

You can see by the following clip how relaxed, happy and fun a pontoon ride can be.
I don’t think a lot of written words are needed to explain exactly what’s going on from the various video shots.

The following link is a two minute clip of some of the fun

I hope you enjoyed this little segment of Rose-Now Connections.

Thanks for all your positive comments.
Keep them coming!

An Evening With JOHN MCEUEN & JIMMY IBBOTSON

It was thirteen years ago this week that SPPA had the privilege of taping the duo under my direction.

I had the fortune opportunity of interviewing John McEuen and later the performance of Grammy award winning John McEuen and Jimmy Ibbotson at the Nicollet County Fairgrounds (I think it was part of the line up during the fair that year) on August 10, 2000.

I have so many choices to choose from this hour and ten minute program.

This is my favorite song of the performance and so I’m starting with clip!

Stay tuned, there's more clips to come!

LAKE HALLETTS NOW

I thought it might be interesting to show the lake 10 years later and so luckily, Trudi Olmanson was available and we took a little stroll.

This next clip is from the other side of the lake.

That's a wrap for the week and Lake Hallett ten years later.
